Our Mission
Green space isn't a luxury.
It's civic infrastructure.
Hartwell County Parks & Recreation maintains the outdoor fabric of this community — the shaded paths that connect neighborhoods, the fields where kids learn what it means to be part of a team, and the quiet benches where neighbors become friends. We don't build amenities. We steward belonging.
"A well-kept park is a promise the county keeps every single morning."
— Margaret Osei, Director of Parks & Recreation

Our Facilities
Three centers.
One community.
The Tuesday pottery class that became a Thursday lunch. The water aerobics group that's been meeting since 1994. The concert on the green that your grandmother remembers. These buildings hold more than programs — they hold the connective tissue of this county.
